Classic Pickled Cucumbers

Quick and easy way to make yourself homemade pickles.

Directions:

First, you will need to slice the cucumbers into thin slices, roughly ¼ inch thick and set aside.

To make the brine, combine vinegar, salt, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring the brine to a boil, making sure to stir frequently to help the salt and sugar dissolve. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let cool to room temperature.

Add the cucumbers, dill, garlic, and peppercorns to your jars. Any size will work just fine. Pour the brine into the jar and make sure you fill it up enough to cover the cucumbers. Seal with an airtight lid and store in your fridge. Let your jars sit for at least 48 hours to let the brine pickle the cucumbers. These will last up to 2 months in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
